Battery calculations the way each manufacturer requires
Every panel manufacturer publishes its own battery calculation worksheet, with its own sections and rules for which devices go where. A device belongs in a section based on what it is — a two-wire conventional detector, an addressable device, a notification appliance, an auxiliary load — not on which circuit you happened to wire it to.
FireDeck mirrors those rules exactly. It pulls standby and alarm current from a maintained device library, places each device in the right section automatically, and applies the manufacturer's formulas — including the details techs get wrong by hand, like IDC zone alarm current being covered by the zone formula rather than added per detector, and NAC devices drawing zero standby on a conventional panel.

Voltage drop on every circuit
A notification circuit can pass on paper and fail in the field if the last device drops below its rated voltage. FireDeck calculates end-of-line voltage for each notification (NAC) circuit using the supply voltage, wire gauge, run length, and the load on the circuit — so you can show the reviewer that the device at the end of the run still operates.
Built for every panel — and it flags the impossible
Conventional and addressable systems are both first-class. Conventional detectors work on any panel; addressable devices are protocol-locked to specific manufacturers, and FireDeck knows the protocol families — Fire-Lite and Notifier share FlashScan, Silent Knight uses Farenhyt/Hochiki, Potter uses PAD, Edwards uses Signature.
Because compatibility is checked as you build the job, FireDeck flags an incompatible addressable device before it lands on a panel that can't run it — the kind of mistake that gets a package kicked back.
Cut sheets, fetched and merged automatically
